Our mission is to love God, love our families, love each other, and love the world…as Jesus does. These ministries help us to do just that.
We offer a free meal on the second Wednesday night of the month (Aug. - May) from 5:00-6:15. Anyone in the community is welcome.
ESL (English as a Second Language)
On Wednesday nights (during the school year) we offer ESL classes for adults wishing to learn English. Children of adults learning English attend our Wednesday night Bible classes. This program follows the Davidson County Metro School's calendar.
We are PENCIL partners with nearby McGavock Elementary School. DCC members may volunteer as tutors to help students. We also support the school by offering special seminars, teacher appreciation meals, etc.
PREACHING & TEACHING MINISTRIES
Children (Nursery-4th grade)
Each Sunday we offer an energetic, intergenerational environment where our children connect with each other and are engaged in praise and the word of God.
Middle School (5th-7th grade)
Each Sunday we offer a fun, interactive, intergenerational environment where kids are engaged relationally and in the word of God.
Youth (8th-12th grade)
An intergenerational environment where students share life together through a study of God’s word and yearly events.
Tuesday thru Thursday during the school year our rooms and halls are full of preschoolers, learning readiness skills and living skills in a fun and safe environment.
DCC has almost two dozen small groups known as Home Churches throughout Donelson, Hermitage, Old Hickory, and Mt. Juliet. Most of our small groups meet on Sunday evenings in the homes of members.
Men's and Women's Ministries
These ministries provide opportunities for our members to encourage each other with Bible Studies, retreats, seminars and various other events throughout the year.
Help Center - (615) 889-2275
Each week we provide food, clothing, and furniture for those in need. Our Help Center is located directly across the street on Knobview Drive and is open Tuesdays from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Each week a group of Inner City children are brought to our facility for a special time of teaching about God’s love and our love for them.
Jesus said He came to “seek and save the lost.” Our mission program is an effort to do just that.
Each Tuesday night from November through March, we provide food, clothing, and shelter to homeless men.
